Pedicure Treatments

Essential Pedicure and Foot Refresh- £45 1 hour This pedicure treatment is individually tailored to your needs. It will always include an assessment of your feet and a discussion with you regarding your preferences and options. At a minimum the pedicure usually includes a warm foot bath with added foot soak and herbal t-bag, followed by the application of exfoliator and cuticle softener. You will then transfer to a comfortable recliner where you can fully relax for the rest of your pedicure experience. Removal of hard skin, nail cutting and filing and cuticle care is done according to your needs. The treatment is finished with a foot massage to rejuvenate, leaving you with cared for feet and an all over feeling of relaxation.
Holistic Luxury Pedicure - £55 - 1.5-2hours.
This pedicure includes all of the Essential Pedicure aspects,
but with the added options of the inclusion of one or more of the following
according to your preference.

a Foot Mask treatment with Hot Booties and

Hand Reflexology massage

a Foot Paraffin wax treatment with Hot Booties and

Hand Reflexology massage or a cup of tea and a

chat before removal of the wax.

Ear Candling - £30- 1 hour. . This treatment is properly known as Thermoauricular Therapy and is known for its ability to access the structures of the head and the lymph system as it enters and surrounds the inner ear. The warming and thermal properties of the ear candle entering the ear space as the candle is heated and burns down activates the sinuses and lymph and circulatory and nervous systems conferring a gentle stimulation that not only has a local balancing effect, but a wider body relaxation as well. Problems with ear fullness sensations, excessive ear wax, some types of tinnitus, general ear aches and congestion and tension in the area can be relieved.
The treatment is always done to both ears and is followed by a acupoint facial massage to support the beneficial effects. It is usual to have a course of 3 treatments for maximum benefit and this is discussed with you at your appointment.
Bach Flower Remedies £30 -The flower remedies were developed by Dr Edward Bach in the 1930's after many years of research into finding a simple natural drug-free way of treating the person's emotions. Are you overly anxious? do you have fears you can't explain? do you find yourself being very critical of others? do you find that you have difficultly standing up for yourself? do you feel that your emotions are getting the better of you? do you think your emotions are to do with why you are ill? All this and so much more can be addressed with the right selection of remedies. At the consultation we will begin by having a chat about all that you are experiencing and feeling and from this a selection of remedies is chosen and tested for their correct selection by a simple kineisiology muscle test. The chosen remedies are then made up to give you a tailor-made, personal remedy bottle for you to take away and use on a daily basis.

A Bit About Me
I qualified in 1992 with a Distinction from the British School of Reflexology having trained with Ann Gillanders, one of Britain's pioneering Reflexologists of her time. Since then I have gained 30 years of experience of this amazing therapy and was recognised as a Fellow of the Association of Reflexologists in 2014 and have since been given life long membership in recognition of my services to Reflexology. Since 1997 I have been a qualified tutor of Reflexology - starting out training students at the local colleges, before starting my own School in 2007 which evolved into the West Shires School of Complementary Health - www.therapytrainingwales.co.uk
Over the years I have gained qualifications in several Complementary Therapies and Pedicure and further qualifications in Reflexology. As all good professional therapist's should, I have undertaken numerous Continuing Professional Development courses covering many aspects of health and care. The most recent ones were Reflexology and Cancer Care and Reflexology Lymph Drainage and I am on the national register of RLD therapists.

Unfortunately, due to severe and rapidly declining joint health in my hands I am no longer able to offer reflexology treatments. I am incredibly sad about this as I have devoted a long career to Reflexology and worked with many hundreds of wonderful clients. I will still continue to teach however and am always available to answer any queries and as I am able to I am happy to still offer Reflexology Lymph Drainage and reflexology for cancer sufferers.

My other me is as an artist and nature lover and I try to spend as much of my free time as possible painting or getting out into my garden with my chickens and beloved cats or walking in the beautiful countryside and beaches of West Wales where I draw inspiration for my art.
